I came from a Dengbej family! We are from Diyarbakir
My mother and father listened to dengbej. Sometimes they sang together. They loved music and dengbej very much. Music was in my life even before I went to school. There were wheat fields around and in front of our house. We used to dance to a song by Hepsi. We even competed. We are from Diyarbakir. I was born in 1998.
Xero Ebas: It’s turned into a ‘beach’ song
I studied music teaching at Marmara University. I dream of being the Queen of Kurdish Pop. I give piano lessons.
When I sing or play an instrument, I leave this world and go to the dream world. I feel whatever I want there. Sometimes I even go there to solve my problems.
Xero Ebas said that my song has completely become a “beach” song. Ciwan Haco also said that the song has become a world-standard style.
They supported me
As a child, my father took me to a course in Ofis, a neighborhood of Diyarbakır to learn the piano. Olcay Bozkurt worked on this project, he gathered us together. Then Mikail Aslan helped him to get in touch with other singers.
