The short film, produced by Botan International and supported by Minority Right Group International (MRGI), is on the air.
In Turkey, the Kurdish language was banned in public places until 1991. A couple wanted to celebrate their wedding with Kurdish music and found a way to fulfill their wishes…
The director of the film is Ekrem Yildiz and the screenwriter is Murat Bayram. The film music was produced by Serdar Canan and was produced especially for this short film.
The film was shot in Diyarbakir and Mardin. You can see the film on MRIG’s Youtube channel.
