The Constitutional Court will meet on January 6 to discuss the cutoff of the treasury aid to the People’s Democratic Party (HDP).
The Republican Chief Prosecutor, Bekir Şahin filed an case against the HDP and demanded that all financial aid to the HDP be cut off.
If the court accepts Şahin’s request, the party will be deprived of the treasury aid, which is distributed to political parties on January 10.
Şahin claimed in his application to close the HDP that the HDP is not using the treasury for political activities but for the purposes of the terrorist organization.
