The 5th Ma Music Days began two days ago. The first day was prepared for children. Music and lyrics at the Ma Music Center garden… When I entered this garden, the parents were waiting on the chairs watching their children. Except for the children who will perform, there were some children guests. Each child ran to one side and shouted. It was like a colorful park.

The girls wore colorful dresses with flowers. The boys were also standing in line with their folk clothes. They were coming to the stage with their small instruments and violins.

In the first part of the program, children were playing the piano. Children with little fingers were playing the piano with their delicate touches. Families watched their children proudly with tears in their eyes. On the another side, the guest children came and went around the stage. They were happy.

One of the coordinators of Ma Music, Delal Tuncer, said, “Children are our future. The more we strengthen and develop them, the more our future will be powerful.”

A 5-6-year-old girl dressed in white appeared before the audience. She waved her shoulders and greeted the audience with her smiling face. The girl laughed, and the audience laughed. She played for us on the piano.

I spoke to a man whose daughter was on stage. He said, ‘I am very excited. My daughter works for Kurdish music, I am very proud.’

Next to the garden, I saw a child watching the program from his house. From the beginning to the end of the program, he put his feet in the irons of the window. He clapped for his friends.

The presenter of the program called on the guests during the breaks and said, “We will not leave our children without Kurdish music.” Then families repeated these words loudly.

At the end of the program, Ma Music Center gives flowers to their teachers for their hard work.

Ma Music Academy was founded in Diyarbakır in 2017. It started its work with the slogan “Music everywhere, music for all”.
