Artuklu University calls academics and researchers to send their articles on “Children’s and Youth Literature”.
The Journal of the Institute of Living Languages of Mardin University, The Journal of Mesopotamian Studies has been published for years.
This journal will continue its publishing under the title Artuklu Kurdology from July 2024.
The committee in charge of Artuklu Kurdology is aiming to prepare a special issue on “Children’s and Youth Literature”.
Artuklu University states the aim of the work as follows:
Our aim in this issue is to introduce, analyse, evaluate and compare the emergence of children’s and early youth literature, its fields of interest, its connection with literature and its points of divergence, as well as to introduce, examine, evaluate and compare the place, development and examples of children’s literature in Kurdish literature; to deal with a wide range of authors, works and other literary sources.
We invite you, esteemed academics and researchers, to contribute to this special issue.We plan to prepare with a broad perspective, articles will be accepted in different languages, such as Kurdish (Kurmanjî, Zazaki, and Sorani) as well as in other languages especially English and Turkish.
Attendance conditions, registration, acceptance of articles and publication rules states as fallow:
The articles in this special issue will be reviewed according to international academic publishing criteria. This special issue will be published in December 2024 following reviewers’ evaluation. For this issue, which we plan to prepare with a broad perspective, articles will be accepted in different languages, such as Kurdish (Kurmanjî, Zazaki, and Sorani) as well as in other languages especially English and Turkish. We kindly request dear academics and researchers who wish to participate in this joint study to contact the editor together with the subject title and abstract. The manuscripts should be submitted to The Journal of Mesopotamian Studies (JMS) International Journal of Academic Studies page on Dergipark until 1 November 2024 at the latest and then will be submitted for peer review. Studies successfully passing the review process will be published in December 2024.
