In the last four months, three young artists have embarked on their journey in Kurdish music with three new albums.
Roleda, Dilşah Kaymaz, and Hevraz are the three young artists.
Roleda
Roleda has been sharing his music with us for several years through various songs. His song “Medûsa” attracted attention with its unique lyrics and music. Following that, “Keçkeçikê” and “Axa Sor” were released.
Since that day, he has captured the attention of listeners.
He released his new album in June of this year.
The name of his new album is “Rîtmên Peyvan.” The album includes one pre-music track, six studio-recorded songs, and one live song, totaling eight tracks. Like his previous songs and singles, Roleda has taken full responsibility for the preparation of the songs. He wrote the lyrics and composed the music for them himself.
He also arranged the songs himself. Roleda’s music is not static or fixed. In each of his new songs, he experiments with new styles and trends from Eastern and Western Kurdistan. There are various styles and colors of world music, including blues, reggae, electronic folk, jazz, and many other diverse genres. He often blends these styles. These musicians bring the colors and sounds of Kurdish music together, creating a unique blend of traditional Kurdish music.
Roleda has released his entire album. He releases his songs one by one.
So far, five songs from this album have been released on digital platforms. For his new album, Roleda held a special event in June in Amsterdam, the capital of the Netherlands. The event took place at the Rû Parê Cultural Center, where musicians and journalists from various countries participated.
During the event, Roleda performed live songs from his new album.
